ISLE OF RUM PHOTOGRAPHY WEEKEND
The following are the results of the photography weekend on the Isle of Rum, that took place at the beginning of September 2006.
There was a full range of participants, from amateur to professional. Their binding thread was a passion for the medium.
The loose brief was to create around six images suitable for publication on the website during their short time on the island.
The end result is a fascinating cross section of approaches and styles that aptly demonstrates an individuality of vision and craft. The power to observe and create. Their response was to the location and what it offered, in many cases they were working and being creative away from their usual areas of interest.
