'When visiting Kinloch Castle I was struck by the exaggerated sexual characteristics embodied in the house. The emphasised masculine; shooting, killing, trophies, breeding animals, hard drinking, smoking and gaming, hard materials and dark colours and the emphasised feminine; china tea sets, needlework, langour, pale colours, soft silks and pinks. These are a selection of images which highlight these male and female aspects in different objects in the house.'
